The perfect boyfriend

Once during a beer my friend Chris told me to approach relationships the same way I approach work. Asked him if he means deadlines, timely delivery and escalations? Nooo silly he replied. I mean when you hear a NO, or something doesn’t go the way you planned, find a different way. Just like in your project. Are you discouraged if you hear a NO from your stakeholders? You’re not, you find other ways to make the project work. Same with man. If it doesn’t work out with one, keep looking and don’t get discouraged.

Top 3 best and worst airlines

Eventually it had to write this post as what’s a travel life blog without a personal view on airlines, right? I never calculated how many miles I flew or how many hours I spent on board of an aircraft but once I sat in the cockpit. It was the most amazing experience ever. During a stopover in Turkey when the plane was parking at the gate the nice Italian pilot let me sit in his seat and explained some of the buttons. Man… best day ever 😀

Let’s do some sports

Sport is good for you. So, they say… It’s true. Sport is good and done in the right way, it can be very much fun. Injuries can happen, that’s one of the risks while doing sports but hey we are taking risks every day by leaving the house for example. 2021 has been so far one of the most intensive sports years for me. Thought that I’ll share with you my top 5 of the best and worst airports I’ve been to.

I’m not going to debate if in the modern world we are truly free or not as that is somehow pointless. I’ll debate the freedom that we are giving up sometimes, and the ones who mostly give it up are women.

Look after your inner child

When I was 10 years old, I thought that people in the age of 30+ are serious, well established and do grown up stuff like going to work or driving a car. Man, little did I know about people in their 30ties by that time. Now I’m 35 myself and sometimes I feel like 7 or 16. Although I do the grown-up stuff like going to work or driving a car, I put all the effort in to keep my inner child alive. Otherwise, life would be so boring.

A happily ever after

Last week my friend broke up with her boyfriend after six years of being together. There were marriage and happily ever after plans but didn’t work out. Now my friend constantly hears: oh you wasted six years of your life and now you have to start from scratch. If you ask me, it is better to split after six years than after sixteen or sixty and find happiness somewhere else rather than suffer in an unhappy relationship. Sooo… what does a happily ever after look like?
